Will these two be eligible to enter the regular NFL draft or will they have to be supplemental picks? They were only dismissed from the team and not the university, correct? Does it even matter? TIA.

Both will be entering the Draft, but 247sports said they both are expected to go undrafted.

both should make NFL rosters. Not sure how high they get drafted (if at all). Think grace can earn multiple paychecks in the league based on his skill set. Has put up some good tape over the years. Aqm rarely stood out on film until his last season. No clue how he did at Hampton. Aqm does have the tools though, and will test well at a pro day (UMs pro day?)

If the Phins don't make a serious move for Grace, I give up. He's the perfect modern LB for Nickel packages. May not be as good, but in the Deone Buchanan style. Had he played here this year, he would have likely had 12+ TFLs.

I think grace is a better version of S. Spence and he is doing ok. Wanted Dolphins to sign him when he left Pittsburgh

AQM's game is too linear, seems like Pro teams are looking for guys that can turn that short corner.

I look for Grace to make an initial impression on STs, and takin' it from there.

GB loves picking up our DBs cheap, they might have eye on Grace. It is shame the kid didn't get a year on a Miami type defense to show what Hurricane LBs use to look like.

With a wealth of great talent in their backyard the Phins have only Drafted 16 players from The U...

More than half of the 16 were drafted in the 60's, 70's & very early 80's...

To think of all the Great players The U has produced in the last 25 years and The Phins have basically ignored the school... I guess that
one reason they haven't been back to the Super Bowl since 1984

I actually think Muhammad has a better shot at an NFL career than Grace. AQM has proven to be an effective DE against the run and pass. He's got good, not great size but can be a three down DE in the NFL. Grace's size is a hinderance. We're assuming he can play safety despite never taking a snap there while in college. As a linebacker, he's strictly a nickel specialist. There's a place on NFL rosters for those guys but most don't get consistent playing time. Sean Spence was twice the player Grace was in college and he's struggled to stay on the field in the NFL even when healthy.

Grace would be a huge steal for my Raiders in the late rounds. TE's have KILLED them in the passing game last two years.

Both will get drafted and both will do well. Grace is absolutely as good as Spence and more versatile. 4th round and will be a steal!

I would normally agree with you DTP, but the Falcons just drafted Dion Jones (Cal?) and he is playing as a LB/S hybrid at between 215-225lbs. Wonder if we will start seeing more of these tweeners in the NFL, especially when athletic TEs and h-backs are in style. Still don't know if Grace will get drafted.

Grace is prepping for the draft in Atlanta with the same group that Njoku is with. Catch 22 with him being drafted is he would likely be a lower pick because he missed his senior season. This locks him into a low value 4 year contract. If he goes undrafted, he can ball out and renegotiate a bigger contract after 2 years (ala Allen Hurns).
