I’d say OP is a giant Moran for trying to **** on a kid who has 8 TDS and zero INTs playing behind a pop warner OL while his coach calls play actions on third and long over and over.
...moran lol

You failed to mention the two true freshman that won the title will be the overall #1 picks in the next two drafts and play for the undisputed best two teams in the country.
If I would have told at the beginning of the season that we would be 2-2 and barely beat Central Michigan 17-12 with Jarren as our QB, would you still have wanted Jarren as our QB? Please answer with truth.
This was how I saw it after UF: https://www.canesinsight.com/threads/the-truth-about-jarren-williams.150564/
As a side note:
A true freshman won the national title last year
A true freshman won the national title the year before that playing against another true freshman
A true freshman beat us in the 2nd game of the season
A true freshman has auburn 4-0 and already beat two top 20 teams
A true freshman has boise st 4-0 and ranked 16
The experts here can maybe help me see my wayward ways - but Jarren was so tight the first game - it was like he couldn't afford to make a mistake and pull the trigger when someone was open. And so he ate the ball and took the hits - time after time after time.
I am no expert nor am I in the QB room - but I get the feeling that everything is so demanding from the coaches - that it's stifling the skills and talents of Jarren.
For Richt to this day - our coaching tribe has been overly - in my opinion - stressing don't make a mistake - don't take any chances and turn the ball over - and yet - this same, highly restrictive mindset - costs us buttloads of opportunity - when it's right there!
We come out - flat. It's like everyone's choking on so many demands.
Maybe the coaches should dial it back a bit - and let the guys play football - and call some formations that will allow them to play some football.
