Question for everyone on this forum...

You failed to mention the two true freshman that won the title will be the overall #1 picks in the next two drafts and play for the undisputed best two teams in the country.

Maybe after the CMU game was a true wake up call. Miami thought they were good and just went through the motions. Yes it is a work in progress but this is turning out to be Rosier 2.0 with not taking deep shots. With the defenses starting to take away the short game let's see if they start doing some slant and go routes. Also maybe we do see more wildcat with Martel in there these coming weeks. We really haven't ran them the last couple of weeks. Enos has to realize now that his oline is straight garbage and these slow play action pass plays are going to get Williams seriously hurt.

Or that Jarren is currently outperforming that true freshman that won the national title last year.

If I would have told at the beginning of the season that we would be 2-2 and barely beat Central Michigan 17-12 with Jarren as our QB, would you still have wanted Jarren as our QB? Please answer with truth.

This was how I saw it after UF: https://www.canesinsight.com/threads/the-truth-about-jarren-williams.150564/

As a side note:
A true freshman won the national title last year
A true freshman won the national title the year before that playing against another true freshman
A true freshman beat us in the 2nd game of the season
A true freshman has auburn 4-0 and already beat two top 20 teams
A true freshman has boise st 4-0 and ranked 16

Jarren is currently outperforming that true freshman who won the national title last year. What do you have to say about that?

The experts here can maybe help me see my wayward ways - but Jarren was so tight the first game - it was like he couldn't afford to make a mistake and pull the trigger when someone was open. And so he ate the ball and took the hits - time after time after time.

I am no expert nor am I in the QB room - but I get the feeling that everything is so demanding from the coaches - that it's stifling the skills and talents of Jarren.

For Richt to this day - our coaching tribe has been overly - in my opinion - stressing don't make a mistake - don't take any chances and turn the ball over - and yet - this same, highly restrictive mindset - costs us buttloads of opportunity - when it's right there!

We come out - flat. It's like everyone's choking on so many demands.

Maybe the coaches should dial it back a bit - and let the guys play football - and call some formations that will allow them to play some football.

Hindsight is 20/20. After he starts throwing picks people will be calling for his head calling him JPicky Williams.

Stop blaming the players. They are kids who volunteered to play for this U. To blame them in order to defend the man crush yall develop on corches makes me sick.

Pretty much every game I've come away thinking that Jarren isnt as good as we were led to believe. His arm strength is below average, his accuracy is off at times and hes pretty slow at reads. I really just see the offense trying at times to be versatile and multiple but It feels like these are some rough growing pains we are going through with all these changes. I think he has made some great strides since Florida but i hope what i saw against NC and CM will not be the same later on this season.

I could see that with the Florida game. But against CM he made a few risky throws. I dont think he is waiting to pull the trigger. I think he processes slow. The one thing I liked about Perry was his ability to manipulate defenses with his eyes and body. Now, I dont think Perry will fix the issues we have but I do wish that we could get that trait to William's. He loves to stare down receivers and it almost cost us two picks just against CM. As for coming out flat, I think the opposite I think all of our games we come out with a great first drive the gets alot of momentum. I think we just bust our load to early and dont know how to respond afterwards.

If I had an EOD team - I wouldn't want Enos anywhere near them. He may be a technician - but he'd make everyone else around him so nervous about making a mistake - BOOM!

On top of that, he'd cluster all EOD members around the same bomb with no room to maneuver. Wiggle. Work. Fart.
