If I would have told at the beginning of the season that we would be 2-2 and barely beat Central Michigan 17-12 with Jarren as our QB, would you still have wanted Jarren as our QB? Please answer with truth.

This was how I saw it after UF: https://www.canesinsight.com/threads/the-truth-about-jarren-williams.150564/

As a side note:
A true freshman won the national title last year
A true freshman won the national title the year before that playing against another true freshman
A true freshman beat us in the 2nd game of the season
A true freshman has auburn 4-0 and already beat two top 20 teams
A true freshman has boise st 4-0 and ranked 16

Jarren is accurate but he's too conservative and rarely throws deep. Teams are now pressuring our receivers knowing he's looking for the short routes first nearly every play. In all honesty this team would probably be better with Perry gun slinging it to loosen up the opposing D.

-Did Jarren drop a td pass to possibly go up 27-17 vs a top 10 team with 9 minutes left? No but he did deliver a perfect pass.

-Did Jarren give up a 4th and 17 on defense after the offense handed the defense a late score with under 5 minutes left? No

-does any of those qbs have The worst power 5oline in the country like Jarren Williams? I gurrantee You they do not.

- with that being said he does have a few issues he needs to clean up but I’m not pinning those losses solely on Williams period. We have far bigger issues plaguing Miami much more than him at the moment and that’s the oline, inconsistent playcalling, the defensive coordinator etc, just to name a few before we get to Jarren.

So yeah let’s put the all blame on the QB when it’s obvious that the issues run deeper than that and also this season would look a lot worst if we didn't have Jarren. So is he perfect no he was issues to work on but come on now he is not the problem here.

I mean Jarren isn’t really the problem, Jarren has played fine but obviously not as smart as his stats say. This is a way bigger problem than the QB

I see really great drives like our first drive and than crap the rest of the game. Is Enos’s scheme to complicated, is it the players playing lazy.

I think a common thing with these kids is they are way to opinionated on coaches decision, and what that tells me is they are spoiled or they don’t respect the coaches. My guess is a little of both but that’s Mannys fault for hiring a staff of no names and kids don’t buy what they are selling

We'd be a different team with a Kosi or Tate at QB right now. Would have at least gotten more chances to win with a more dynamic QB. I dont dislike Jarren just think we have better options. Been saying this since after UF.

I was a perry guy myself, jarren while accurate like coach richt said last year, "he doesnt always know where to go with the ball, but when he decides to throw it, he normally hits his target" and that's exactly what we have been seeing from jarren, which under coach richt, jw15 would've frustrated coach richt by being to conservative. Im willing to bet during the qb competition perry put up the most points out of all of them. The way jarren plays qb reminds me of how players who've played with lebron say alot of times bron be out their stat chasing in loses so the blame wont go on him, jarren reminds me of that same mindset, his completion pct% is high, his yards per game are consistent, but we not putting up points like we should be on a regular, we stay in the redzone.

Also im not seeing any checks or audibles being made by jarren, as the season goes on, which is why Central Michigan could do what they did. As the season goes on, jarren will start realizing he cant keep playing how he's been playing, cause the more d-co's get film on em, the harder its going to get to score points! Teams are definitely going to start stacking the box and forcing jw15 to beat them!

PLAY TATE

Depends on the offense, if Enos is running this same BS, it doesn't matter. IF he ran the right offense with Tate, we'd be killing it. It's perfect with his and the skill player's talent and a suspect OL. But pro style, bro.

I’d say OP is a giant Moran for trying to **** on a kid who has 8 TDS and zero INTs playing behind a pop warner OL while his coach calls play actions on third and long over and over.

I’ll never understand why any OC hasn’t looked at the speed of our offense for years now and been like “hmm, I bet the spread would look real nice here”. Imagine having a competent defense like we do most of the time and an air raid offense. We consistently have some of the fastest players in the country
