Why did UM pass on the Desir twins?

I'm not ready to crown them as stars just yet, but they are certainly having nice freshman years. Between them and Isaac Brown, that's some bad local passes.

Did they like one better than the other? Was that it?

As for Brown, but I don't think he could commit to UM anyway? I thought it was just like the token, interest type offer, but we wanted Bowens, Lyle, CWH over him?
 
We looked at them as EDGE players but I don’t remember much interest from the staff. They grew into DTs quickly and look great. Here is my note on them from the UA camp:

yea the first time i saw them in person was the chaminade vs norland game.

same game i saw Simpson and said kid is built the right away and may play early.

after the game i went to holla at norland coaches and they were the first kids by the bus and the twins looked like nfl players off the bus literally...(they were getting off the bus)

I wouldnt mind offering them to come back but they will be priorities to keep for fsu. They would fit int his dl so well it would be crazy with them blount, scott and company

They definitely hitting the portal if nothing else to follow the established Patrick Payton/Darrell Jackson path to extort more $$ out of broke boys up north.

If they scrounge up the money watch out for A&M because of Moe
