Devin Bush from Michigan is going to have a beastly junior year. It's a shame Ed Oliver is playing under D'No - best college lineman I've seen since Suh.

Kid was a beast in HS too. I still don't understand why he even went to UH. It must have been grades or something. I can't imagine what a beast that kid would have been if he was coached by someone other than No D.
 
Saying they will be NFL stars is a stretch but all are great NFL prospects.

It's crazy how the media is constantly overlooking Michael Pinckney? He is the #1 playmaker for us at the LB position.

And Joe Jackson and Michael Jackson not being listed is blasphemy... I'm taking MJ over DeAndre Baker any day.

Agree on baker comment and he’s undersized too
 
It makes sense that people would expect a big jump from Shaq in 2018 but I expect more of the same (80+ tackles, a few sacks/TFLs).

6 sacks 17 tfls in 2 years is not a “few sacks/ tfls for a linebacker..

6 sacks and 17 TFLs in 26 games is nice, but the hype he's receiving indicates that some are expecting 6 sacks and 17 TFL in 2018. He's really high on a lot of lists right now but it's based on an aggregate amount of starts and tackles, not because people have watched him dominate.

Do you expect 100+ tackles and bunch of interceptions?

Might be impossible given Miami linebackers play less plays than other teams starters like let’s say Devin white due to Miami constantly rotating the 2nd team linebackers in(we need to do less of this honestly)

That's a fair point and I agree with you on the rotating at certain positions, but if our starters were head and shoulders above their backups (like Norton and McIntosh in 2018 for example) then Diaz probably wouldn't feel compelled to yank them off the field indiscriminately.

You're just projecting your own misplaced expectations there. MLB in a 4-3 don't generate as many sacks and TFLs as you seem to be expecting, not even the really good ones.

And yes, I can see Q having a 100 tackle season

I doubt anyone on our D can get 100 solos.

There's too much talent on that side of the ball for one guy to soak up all the psussy.

Jaquan Johnson had 96 last year. You don't want a safety leading your team in tackles.

Slightly higher rep count for Shaq plus taking the next step at a player may just get him there
