kid could make all the throws but the mental part and the pressure of being the face of a team isn't there
That's the main key for majority of the recruited athletes.

Most of them have the physical intangibles.. it's why they're rated 3 stars or better.

You just never know how they will fair from an intellectual or maturation perspective.

They could show all the signs while at the parents home under their tutelage and guidance. What happens when they get that college freedom+workload?

Hard af to Guage.

What a waste. Kid had a world of potential.

Perry straightened his personal issues out. Whatever happens at FAU, he deserves a ton of credit. Williams didn't have the willpower or ganas.

More on Perry from the Palm Beach Post today:

"All eyes were on quarterbacks Nick Tronti, Michael Johnson Jr, N’Kosi Perry, and Willie Taggart Jr. to see who could separate themselves from the others.

Taggart said they still have some work to do before he can feel confident with naming the starter.

Perry, an offseason transfer from Miami, has reportedly been neck-and-neck in competition with fellow offseason transfer Michael Johnson Jr. Both have been seeing their first competitive snaps against new teammates this week.

“We're still evaluating some guys,” he said. “We got a big practice [Tuesday] where we can get some more evaluation, but we're really trying to hone in on some things and figure out which guys we're trying to go with, especially within the two-deep, and hopefully we have a clear understanding of that by the end of this week."
