I know but I think i rather actually just get the better QB.Name rec = better recruits.
I do understand the hype train that would be started with Raiola, but still. Hype doesn't win games.

I'm undecided. I know better than to pretend freshmen numbers mean a lot. My bigger concern is surrounding with talent. We haven't upgraded the talent enough to help a young QB imo.I know but I think i rather actually just get the better QB.

**** I didn’t know Dylan was nice at golf like thatRaiola is just TVD w a Gucci belt.

Respectfully, how many games of each have you watched? Can you provide a breakdown of each to support that stance? He is the better QB
When? I've been saying Emory is a backup since the beginning. He's also sunshine pumped half this board into believing Emory is elite. So you're making some sense here.
I've watched some of each. I see Dylan has clearly the stronger arm.I'm undecided. I know better than to pretend freshmen numbers mean a lot. My bigger concern is surrounding with talent. We haven't upgraded the talent enough to help a young QB imo.
Mensah is such a lottery ticket. He could turn out to be the investment of a lifetime or the biggest waste of money of all time.I know but I think i rather actually just get the better QB.

I don't think the competition is comparable. Having big game experience is a plus imo. That being said both could be good here. Neither would be as prolific as Cam so the bar has been set to high.I've watched some of each. I see Dylan has clearly the stronger arm.
But mobility goes to mensah. Accuracy goes to mensah.
A big strong arm isn't the end all be all at QB. Thats what scares me the most about 5 star qbs. Ppl fall in love with a rocket arm, but being a good QB is so much more than that.
Yea there is no QB like Cam. Mateer is the closest, and that's obviously everyone's #1 option still.I don't think the competition is comparable. Having big game experience is a plus imo. That being said both could be good here. Neither would be as prolific as Cam so the bar has been set to high.

Come on man.
Most of the posters on here never played or coached. Which is fine. But that means they only have your word/insight to go off of.
They take what you say about guys looking good in a practice setting, or coaches liking them, to mean "they're an underrated star."
Look at how many people are convinced that Emory is a future star. They didn't come to that conclusion based on what they've seen.
I had a poster tell me to kill myself in defense of Emory like 5 days ago. Granted, that poster is a crack head, people are dying on the Emory for a reason.
Your words have a lot weight, intended or not.
- Emory Williams won over a lot of teammates with those two runs. At this point, I would project him more as an ideal game-manager backup. That doesn't mean he can't be more than that, but we need to procure a starter from the Portal.

He only started one year in high school too. There's just not much to go off of. Definitely not enough for the asking price.
I don't buy the Raiola to Miami talk at all. But.. I'd rather it be Raiola just to witness Rhule's tantrum. I don't think he could handle losing his starting QB to Miami. Not with all the **** he's talked.
Only one i have seen is Bud ElliotI just spent the last 20 minutes looking for any sourcing to substantiate this rumor and came up empty. The NU fan boards seem to think this started with 247 using a stock Raiola photo for their portal coverage articles. As far as I can tell, no national reporter has said they have heard Raiola is going to transfer at all yet, let alone to Miami.
Id be happy to be wrong though.
He said "that's a rumor down here that I've had Miami fans ask me about."Only one i have seen is Bud Elliot
@DMoney is there any truth to this rumorHow much more direct can I be?
