Now that it’s out there I’ll speak on it. Ward isn’t dead and talks have continued. He could pull out of the draft. The only negative is whoever misses on Howard could get aggressive with Ward. I take it that would be USC and as I’ve mentioned they’ve sniffed around. I’m sure the NIL has been revised here.

Yeah, its getting ridiculous. I'd still leave it open for him, but if Howard, Salter, Sluka, Hennigan were at the table and ready to fully commit, I'd tell Ward "too late" even if he were standing there with pen in hand ready to join us.

Big facts. He is entitled to drag this process out as long as he wants. That's his choice, his business.

The moment a solid portal QB does want in, accept it and tell Ward to seek a home elsewhere.
