Kind of figured this was going to happen. Mario has always been consistent with how he does stuff. Even with recruiting kids say Mario recruits the same even after they commit to other schools. Have to think Mario will recruit Ward until he can't anymore. Obviously also helps all other options are no good.

Whatever it is, we really need to have a QB in the boat by the end of the week imo. This is dragging out far too long when there are other areas that need dire addressing from the portal.

QB is unquestionably focus #1, but it's not the only position that needs an influx of talent.

Nope worse than that. This program is doomed with Mario as HC. QB room is in ******* shambles, our lead RB is out for the year, we have no playmakers on the outside. Mauigoa and his 500 holding penalties will stall every drive. Dawson couldn’t scheme my wife’s legs open and let me tell you that **** isn’t hard.

And don’t get me started on our 5 sack total DEs, no LT, LBs can’t bring a ball carrier down, Damari’s leaving, and our safeties are Coach D’Onofrio specials (ie 4.8 speed).

We’re screwed.

So Ward's hokey/suspect video announcement that he was entering the draft was just a ploy to extract more money out of teams and to avoid having to tell others (FSU) that he wasn't coming since now they have already moved on. Miami, who didn't have backup plans in place, didn't move on so we contacted Ward and told him how hurt we were over the breakup and upped the bag. Ward, realizing that he ain't going pro, decides to take our bag. It also adds another 5-10 minute scene to the documentary. Cribby doesn't want to put the Washington State logo as his avatar because it will be a dead give-away. So he decides to put another WSU logo on instead to make it less obvious. The tie to Kansas has peeps speculating about Howard, but the set of eyeballs lets us know that it isn't Howard. Announcement imminent.

At this point you make Ward the backup plan just like the other pipe dreams of little Tua, Pratt and now Howard. Nothing wrong with due diligence and keeping dialogue just in case, but focus your efforts on more realistic options who might actually you know.... WANT to play here.
