QB sneak from Shotgun on 4th and Goal

We should've at least ran that play to the left side of the line. Left side held up pretty well throughout the game. To be honest if RT was actually putting a hand on someone we would've probably been more consistent.

The previous play was third and goal from the 6.
That King play is not called if Chaney gets stuffed at the LOS.
Whoever made the call made a bad one.

The little option pitch with Cam worked well on 3rd and 3.
Run that, or bring back DJ for a play.

That play sucked ... bad.... But what was worse for me was seeing McCloud, Steed, Jennings, Hall and Ivey all on the field at the same time.... We basically waved the white flag and surrendered....
 
Hindsight is always 20/20 but it definitely wasn’t Lashlee’s best performance. We all yelled and screamed for an up tempo offense, well the dude Manny hired is one of the fastest OCs out there. This is the downside of that at times. Things happen so fast that sometimes it makes you wonder if we shouldn’t pull back and make sure we have the correct call for that situation.

But that was a nice drive to start the half. Down 27-3 and come out and drive all the way to their 1 yard line. We weren’t winning that game but it would’ve been interesting to see how it played out at 27-10 with a little bounce in our step.

I’ve seen Nick Saban cuss out coaches in games for much smaller reasons than that. The way that entire play went down made it clear that Manny Diaz needs to be fired. The moment is too big for him, the things that go into being a legit HC during those moments he’s not equipped with. I wouldn’t hire him to be the DC at FAMU.

Which one seems more likely, you hitting the numbers or a player jumping at the goal line for a score probably

What about two previous plays (not the Chaney run play) but the two roll out passes into the flat with only 1 receiver vs 2-3 defenders? To me those calls, which weren’t creative at all are just as bad if not worse.
 
First of all, if King did audible into the so-called QB sneak then that was just poor judgment. The last thing that you need in the shotgun is time for the front defensive 7 to penetrate across the line before you get there. If I'm not mistaken, the Wisconsin QB ran that play vs Penn State and it was blown up too. I think I would have spent my money on the wildcat instead.
 
I knew we were going to do that. IMO there is no way we even should have considered running into that bunched up Alabama front. I hate passing on 4th and 1, but in that situation you dial up some kind of tricky misdirection.

Yea but Saban is a phony. His motivation tactics aren’t his personality. Manny is real. LMAO

I think herb gave him two plays for the 3rd down call and it’s situational. But if king made that call, then wow

It was fantastisch. Had an encounter with a few manatees, saw some huge birds. Didn't think about the canes at all. Only wish that I had turned the game off sooner.
 
Lashlee needs to try calling plays from the pressbox. He gets too caught up in the moment and does this Tecmo bowl **** too often.
