QB sneak from Shotgun on 4th and Goal

Now let’s talk about Diaz during that moment… what real HC would even let that happen without calling a timeout to discuss it with the OC or even cuss out the OC for calling that dumbass play to begin with?? I’ve seen Nick Saban cuss out coaches in games for much smaller reasons than that. The way that entire play went down made it clear that Manny Diaz needs to be fired. The moment is too big for him, the things that go into being a legit HC during those moments he’s not equipped with. I wouldn’t hire him to be the DC at FAMU.

This and the 3rd and 7 run play felt like 4th and 17 all over again
 
King could have sprouted wings and floated into the end zone and the result of the game would have been the same. All
the ****ing and moaning about this play is pointless.

Besides., a QB keeper from a shotgun is not a "sneak" .. dayyam !
 
I think we need to slow the pace down sometimes. It hurts our offensive line. They need to be able to set protections when teams are blitzing and they can't really do that.

On that 4th down play it would've been better to take our time and we need to be able to have king under center. A QB sneak under center has a much higher chance of scoring than that shotgun sneak.

I actually think this line can be good but we do them no favors with bad play calls and going so fast they can't get protections. Seeing Alabama set their protections when we blitzed convinced me that slowing down sometimes would be beneficial

It’s in the coach. Lashlee have king 2 plays going into 3rd down. The 3rd down call and the 4th down call if they didn’t score on 3rd down. The entire offense knew the call hence the hurry up.

Either Manny or King referred to that in the post game presser. That was supposed to be a real quick play

Still dumb in my opinion, especially with King's leg - but it didn't have a shot

Everybody knew it was going to be a QB sneak. Which is why it would have been so easy to sneak a RB out for a catch or a TE after faking a block and do a "jump pass" type play.

Was easily the worst play of the game due to the situation..had a chance to go 27-10 and have all the momentum.
