Just because Napier wouldn’t last 10 seconds in the octagon with Mario, it doesn’t mean he strong-arms commitments.

Mario is the most polished, professional, and relevant HC in the state.

Criticizing “strong arm” tactics in a negotiation process is what betas do. It’s been crystal clear for a long time that NIL is the primary factor in this recruitment. So in that case you don’t do what UF did, and make a huge offer only to let the recruit and his family go shop it around to your competitors

I don’t even really know what kind of an offer UF made. Just because their delusional posters say he got a huge offer for them, who really knows?

The bottom line is, the Sling Blade era is over before it even gets started, if they can’t get him to sign for the turds, considering what their quarterback room looks like.

What a stupid comment all these guys use. You would think this kid hangs up after one site calls only to then have it ring again with another team site and just does that all day everyday. While simultaneously his father and coach are speaking to team sites. So many generic terms and lines to use to generate clicks. Then like Gator Tears proves if a "beloved" poster says something that is completely untrue or unproven the board still runs with it and speaks it into existence. Its why I appreciate the few insiders we have...they rarely put their foot down. They say what they heard from a friend/recruit/whatever but mention other factors.

I love the final 24 hours. "things are evolving" and "Rapid changes are occurring" will be used a lot the next few days. Even though the kid isnt talking to anyone. Basically everyone is now in wait mode if you have half a brain. Hopefully its us.

It’s a smoke screen for basically getting out negotiated and recruited. Simple as that. Whenever you fall back on being the good guy and morally superior while in a losing position that is what it is.
