Official QB Jaden Rashada: COMMITS… & then Flips to the gator… & then the gator welches on the payments so he doesn’t enroll and rescinds NLI

Not swooping in to defend mi hermano Henrique Parrish...but...

This team right now does not generate big plays at all. Mostly, the playcalling for sure (our QBs don't even look downfield). In lesser part - but notable - because players aren't doing their job (missed blocks, not making a defender miss, etc.)

Miami is 108th in plays of 7 or more yards, 107th in plays over 10 yards. Plays from 6 yards and under...31st in the nation. We were 13th in 10+, 43rd in 7+, 63rd in 4+ (meaning we had a **** run game/short pass game) last year.

Its not even about EXPLOSIVE, DOWNFIELD PLAYS...we dont do that much at all, but the chunk plays, the plays you make when you are behind schedule (which is why penalties kill us so much), we dont do that at all.

And yeah, the lack of speed and playmakers is evident here as well. Its a mix...but bad bad results so far.

When I say we have a NEEEEEEEEED for SPEEEEEEEEEEEEED, people say its not that big a deal, then they turn on Tenn and say look I want their offense hurp derp, meanwhile Hendon is throwing to wideopen Hyatt running go routes because he is a 10.4 100 meter runner.. We dont have that type of speed, we dont emphasize it and we actually dismiss it as not important.. AT MIAMI!!!! We used to be known for SPEEEEEEED.. Its mind blowing to me..

Alot of these fans are also Finz fans and I guarentee they have ALOT more respect for Tyreek Hill now (mind you I have been on boards since lounge where they said Wade was best player in NBA prior to Lebron then Lebron came and he became best player ever, so I know the extremes of their hyperbole, good times) McDaniel talk about stuff he does with Hill that he cant do with anyone else and how defenses have to respect him. Hopefully that fully opens the eyes of EVERYONE to see we slow AF..

I still dont see them track numbers with commits either, keep kicking can and then be surprised we dont scare MTSU, Dukes of world, and these other teams embarrass us.. Its a mix alright, slow af and any offense dont mix!!

We have been small and slow for a very long time. I made some posts on this years ago, looking at our players after graduation and how many of them were just sub-par, below average, and in some cases non-athletes for the pro game. There were very few top athletes from our program throughout most of the past decade, and there has been a decline in those kind of athletes at the program since we've been in our decline to the point we are now where we are mostly small and slow in every position group.

Really? I don’t agree here. How many starts does Garcia have? Kids very talented! Not everyone comes in and dominates. If you wanna argue that a pocket passer that doesn’t move well won’t work for this scheme then that would be a good discussion. But Garcia can play and do can TVD in the right scheme
 
Can we at least roll out Jaccuri once? Heck, Jake has only been rolled out once and it was to his left as far as I recall.

Man, I was thinking of inventing a drinking game called "Miami Speed Drinking". Every time an announcer mentions Miami's speed, you take a shot. Then I thought, what if we wanted to drink so much we'd die? So, I considered adding the rule that any time an announcer says anything about Miami's past, you have to take a shot. Then I thought, "How can I get us all drunk before the end of the first quarter?" Hmmmm.. A shot every time an announcer, or sideline reporter, talks about how Mario gets it, or knows what it takes to win at Miami.

It's been nice knowing you all.

Went to the UVA game and sat almost on the field. Usually, when you see these guys live, they look even faster. Well...this is the slowest UM team I've ever seen. I wonder about the mustache strength coach. Yeah, dudes are squating 1000 lbs but they're running 5.3s.

I've seen enough out of Garcia to realize he is not a power 5 QB. Look at the interceptions he has thrown the last 3 games.

If you can't do well against a ****** Virginia d then I don't want you. Morris and Kaaya played a ton as true freshmen and they didn't make mistakes like Garcia has who is in his 2nd year here.

When you do the back2back UM/Finz with Tyreek/Waddle/Mostert (even tho he havent really bust loose).. The contrast is INSANE..

I read these post of guys tryna squint Flagg/Parrish into being cornerstone players and these guys are tiny and slow.. You have to pick a struggle, be big/slow, be fast/small.. But to be both.. We getting dog walked at home by MTSU for a reason.. I know many seem to have some type of affinity for jag players but we cant sacrifice UM to play these guys, they have to be escorted out ASAP.. This is treason playing this many bad players..

I think we had way to many injuries but as far as speed we recruited slow players can't expect much. The trend continues getting Joseph and Washington helps but will hurt missing out on Chris Johnson and Jalen Brown even if he can't catch.

Remember when it was good riddance Williams and Kosi, and how we had this influx of talent with King, TVD and Garcia? Too much talent has come through and been wasted here. It’s not the talent. The talent needs work to compete with the elites but it’s mainly coaching

My assumption was that TVD leaves on his own accord but I’d be happy to have him back one more year

And yeah the coaching has been bad but garcia has done nothing to show that he has it in him

He has not but at some point after missing on every single eval with QBs, it’s not the players. My point is that history shows that we have had this conversation a how many times, going all the back to Brock Berlin and it’s never different. We are always right back to the same spot of saying, good riddance to x set of players

Listen I respect your opinion but the O line these QBs are playing behind is about as decimated as it gets and not having Nelson all year has made it very hard.

He's focused on his senior season. He has a lot of pressure on him, Pitt coach is retiring after this year, and Jaden has a lot of doubters he needs to answer. They play their rival again this week in the playoffs, they should win and play De La Salle for a trip to state.

I'll be back home next Thursday for Thanksgiving, I'll see what the word is around Pittsburg.
