QB depth chart for Thursday

If Jarren or Perry start I will watch and cheer for LA Tech. Well, I was anyway. Before “Tate Martell quit on us and shouldn’t play” chimes in, how many times has Jarren quit on the team? I was holding out to see if Martell would start. This would have made it at least interesting to see what he could do.

Hopefully TVD can learn the playbook quick enough and pull a Brad Kayaa. Again, not like the other learned the playbook
Jarren was just considering transferring last year. But he didn't skip weeks of practices and games like Tate.

Tough to know just how much Martell has pushed his luck with the coaches but same time, our coaches have proven to me morons. You’re correct it’s not like our other two QBs have been the gold standard of QB dedication.

If Tate started I would have watched. But only for a slightly different version of the train wreck that would ensue.

He skipped practice at the end of last year and looked to transfer.

He skipped practice this year after being benched in one of the games.

No he did not take a leave of absence and vanish like Tate, but the act of defiance to team rules and being there with your teammates still stands.

Never thought I’d live to see the day where the gophers are a much better stable team than the canes.

Its not surprising, once the "change the image" mantra went into full affect, and those dumb ****'s wanted to play around with butch davis contract instead of locking him up and making him a respectable offer, the handwriting was on the wall. Than hiring 3 1st time headcoaches in the process definitely means they not serious about football.

I'm guessing you made a 100k at the age of 20?
Take out taxes and the agent's cut and 100k isn't that much. Also, bear in mind that most NFL players way overspend. Combine that with the fact that players who only make the practice squad will probably be completely out of the NFL in 1-2 years and it isn't that great at all.

If you want to make it in the NFL, you should bust your a@@ in college in the weight room and on game day, perfect your craft through the end of your senior year and then go pro (when you're completely ready to compete at the next level).
