Disagree. D$ and Cribby don't make definitive statements with timetables unless it's done. There's been too much Cloak and Dagger around this announcement, not to mention too much message board vitriol, for them to come out at this time and say it's gonna be done this weekend unless they're sure.

Saying it’s done and has been done is literally the opposite from saying he’s still deciding. Both can’t be true. I would never call them out because they’re the best in the biz, but to be clear the messaging is absolutely not that he’s “still deciding”.

Nothing is done until Ward officially announces that he's not declaring for the NFL draft and he's coming to Miami. Dmoney literally said he expects Ward to come to Miami, but its not a done deal

IIRC Cribby said "we have our QB" a couple weeks ago with no follow up. D$ then came out and said both Ward and Howard are in play, they expected a decision early but didn't get one but both are negotiating. Neither came out with statements like today's saying not only that it's done, but that it's Ward (plan A) and that it will be announced this weekend.

That's a lot more definitve info than they've been willing to put out in the past few weeks which leads me to believe it's not a drill this time lol.
