2027 QB Board (2027 Edition)

Are we going to drop the bags necessary to get a #2 overall QB (assuming we don't opt for a local kid) out of high school? Seems to be opposite of prior approaches. I could see a change in approach if if we think it's harder to get kids in portal with contracts going on and if we think we've built up enough juice on high school level to pull the top dogs.

Look at his list of OV's. Why not get in their if you have real interest. Miami would/should be the standout of his visits if they got one right now. NIL is a different story with Auburn in their, they could outbid. Purdue, FSU and UK?

lol i can see why Dawson offered; accurate, off platform throws, velocity in tight windows, and can move. Aim small, miss small passes.

Kinda peculiar he has so little attention and i can’t find his stats but looks like he would be a good second qb to my untrained eyes. Saw this in an article

Minnetonka (Min.) junior quarterback Caden Gutzmer has had a very good season to date. Gutzmer has completed 68-percent of his passes with four touchdowns to no interceptions. He has also rushed for 168 yards and a touchdown.

That has created increased interest in the 6-foot-2, 205-pound Gutzmer.

He tells 247Sports he will visit Arizona State this weekend (October 18th) for the Sun Devils' showdown with No. 7 Texas Tech.

Im just a believer seeing the recruitments/developments of Stetson Bennett, Trinidad Chambliss, Cam Ward, both Mendozas, etc that there are guys out there who can surprise on Saturdays. Not every qb will be impatient & want to jump elsewhere & we’ll need depth
