We've taken a single QB in each of the previous cycles under Mario. Will the trend continue?

Sorting the Tables

The tables above can't be sorted by columns right now other than the default. However, you can copy the table into the clipboard and sort it yourself in Google Sheets or Excel.

Steps.

  1. Copy table into the clipboard
  2. Paste into Google Sheets
  3. Optionaly hightlight (i.e. bold) the column header (first row)
  4. Under the Data menu, select Sort, then advanced range sorting option
  5. Click on data has header row (i.e. the row you bolded in step 3)
  6. Select the column that will be the primary sort column (i.e. OV date, commit date etc.)
  7. Click on sort
  8. Profit

Before folk start rolling their eyes, I'm afraid to get the elite QBs, you need to start recruiting early, real early. Now identifying the right ones to recruit, that's a different question.

Yea, we're handing out 28 offers now (and we still don't even have a 27 prefix much less a 28 prefix). Anyways, this offer to Neimann Lawrence is getting a lot of buzz. This was his first offer.

- The 2027 QB to keep an eye on right now is Peyton Houston (Shreveport). The 6', 195-pounder set a national record last season with 817 passing yards in one game. His OC is former Canes quarterback Brock Berlin.

Peyton Houston — Peyton Houston threw it around as good as anyone out on the field, regardless of class during Saturday’s Elite 11 Regional. Even as one of the shorter prospects for the position, he is able to generate such good velocity on the football due to his natural whip and ability to generate power with his lower half. He and fellow Louisiana 2027 QB Malachi Ziegler tied for the highest score on the accuracy challenge for the 2027 group. Houston was delivering the football with solid accuracy and showed great touch throwing the football downfield. 2027s are unable to receive Elite 11 Finals invites, but he was one of the top QB’s in attendance.

@DMoney says Trent Seaborn and Peyton Houston are the top two priorities in the 27 class in the March 23, 2025 Bank

A 2027 QB that visited this weekend and is a name to watch: Top 10 QB Trent Seaborn (Birmingham, AL). He and Peyton Houston (Shreveport, LA) are the main targets for next year.

At this stage of the process, there are two names near the top of the board: Trent Seaborn and Peyton Houston.

Miami is also high on No. 1 overall player Elijah Havenout of Baton Rouge (La.) Dunham School and Bastrop (Texas) Top247 quarterback Weston Nielsen.

Flower Mound (Texas) Marcus Top247 Colton Nussmeier, the younger brother of LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier and son of New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier, is also on the radar, as is Benton (La.) Top247 arm Malachi Zeigler. Miami will get a more in-depth look at those two during the spring evaluation period.

Also this part made me wonder if there’s an eyeballs emoji toward Neimann Lawrence being so highly touted so far out already.

“Quarterback has also become a popular reclassification position recently and the door is open to Class of 2028 arms joining the talent pool in the Class of 2027 down the line as well.”
