Put some respect on Chase Smith name

Coordinators matter ... one of ch's biggest strengths was matching skill set with scheme ... jt skill set was perfect for box safety, Scott skill set was perfect for nickel ... chase was put in positions to succeed ... his biggest play of the year wasn't a tackle or deflection ... he was just in position to contest a throw

I will never agree with writing off players because of injuries, you haters will love him by the end of the season. He will be the defensive version of Arroyo

I'm curious if there is any thought of putting both Mo Toure and Chase Smith on the field together with Chase at WLB. Obviously that depends on Bonner, Wiley and the freshmen. What I really want to know is if Chase is capable of playing WLB or is he only seen by the staff as depth at MLB?

I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts at WLB he played there some last season.

I think that's the plan. I'll be shocked if Bonner gets the nod over Chase.

It's so exciting to finally see Chase get healthy. You could tell towards the end of last year that his natural athleticism and explosiveness was starting to come back. I'm really excited for him and to see him go out there and ball. For a long time I was worried that all the injuries might have eroded his natural abilities.
