I'm worried about Toney back there. He's made questionable decisions the last two games catching it deep or letting it bounce. Also want to save him for receiver. I'm interested to see if Ray Ray without the #35 jersey would be better. I think he was returning at the end of the game against Bethune.

Not many programs have had several dynamic people as returners like we have.

I feel a bit entitled surrounding why we’ve now gone so long without having real production there. At this point it has to be about philosophy not who we have on the roster.

I dont think it was questionable, on the catch on the 5, I think he was lined up at like the 6 or 8 so yes he did take a step or two back which generally is a no no but IIRC there was a good amount of hangtime and he was surrounded so yes small chance it bounces back towards the 10, small chance it skips into the endzone, but also a chance it rolls inside of the 5 and we are starting at the 1 or 2 so I was ok with it.

On the BC one, I do think he was trying to make a play but he got a great big hop and again, if he doesnt touch it it likely rolls inside the 10. Tough calls in the moment but I was okay with it, especially because it took that big bounce and made for an easy grab.

Toney made one of the highest football IQ moves last week. He made sure to push his teammate out of the way of the bouncing ball vs yelling at the kid to move.
