As you mentioned previously, NOW is the Legacy building period…

Need to win a game or two to keep the momentum going…
 
We made it to the other side. And I suspect the playoffs will be expanding next year to 16. If so, 10 wins or more and 2 losses or less from a power 4 team is almost always going to get you in. We could be at the start of a consistent year to year playoff team and national championship contender. If Ohio State can do it under Day, why not Miami under Mario.

He didn't cry, and has never skirted accountability.

Things have not broken our way over the last 4 years but he's always handled it with class.

[]_[] couldn't ask for a better leader; I'm so relieved Mario gets this validation to go with the work he's put in.

The best part is things are just getting started.

We have a real shot. No one has looked unbearable, & we've looked as good as anyone when we're on...which we've been since SMU.

The thing I hated most about playing in a phone booth offense with A gap runs is the defense can key in and load the box with numbers where if the first guy fails to make the play they can still double back and finish it for a minimal gain

Given the speed and skills of our receivers, why are we playing in a phonebooth so often? the following two plays were very early in the game with the score zero zero in both games and both on first and 10.

i understand that they are a million factors that influence the way we are lined up from game to game and play to play, but the idea still rings through. under dawson, we are playing in a phonebooth often.

agreed. the change from SMU to Pitt has been nothing sort of elite. we looked like we should and looked dominant doing it.
