Not just to lose the biggest games, and postseason games, but to get lambasted in these games.

I know I'll get killed for this, and I believe the ball team had a good season, and is a solid program..

When was the last time the Canes lost a meaningful/potential season ending game in the last minute, after putting up an excellent effort?

I ask because it seems like a cultural issue..

I like angel but he killed us because hes not athletic or long enough to break the zone. Hes crafy and gritty as **** but we got outcoached and outplayed.

"What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

Why does this systemic issue not impact the baseball team? Our football team got blown out of big games, because Al peter principled and was coaching against guys that were out of his league.

Villanova played 'out the wazoo'....We ran into a buzz saw.
Congratulations to the Canes BB for a terrific season. I hope we can be nearly as successful next year.

It would be great if the football program improved this year as much as the basketball program.

GO CANES!!!!

We had 2 players worth a **** in that game. Nova had assassins on the floor. Our defense sucked and we turned it over way to many times

Its kinda hard to win when youre shooting 75% from the field and still down 12. Nova played like Golden State last night. **** happens.

Miami making it to the Sweet 16 is an accomplishment. Miami isnt a basket school. Its a Football then a Baseball school.

What struck me out of the get go was the turnovers which was a product of lack of discipline and focus. I don't know who to blame for this. Once we got behind that much to an excellent team it was over.

When a team shoots like nova did last night you just hope it ends soon. It didn't I think I seen somewhere they shot 50/60/90 that's insane

I think that coach L has spoiled us fans a bit. Hes won the mighty ACC and led us to the Sweet 16 twice without even landing top notch recruiting classes. If this years recruiting class is any representation of the kind of talent we will be attracting to Coral Gables in years to come, its going to be one **** of a ride boys.

Exactly. I watched Golden State play OKC this year and Curry hit 12 of 16 from 3 while Durant fouled out of a game for the first time in three years. Curry tied an NBA record for made 3's......this game is what would be classified as an anomaly. Nova played **** near a perfect game....**** happens

Newton or Reed should have been on the point. The biggest issue was the lack of production from Jekiri the last 10 games. I would have put Uceda in to the game and get some scoring.

Lol say what yall want but he got point man its gotten to the point where me as well as people at my school dont even bet on miami when it comes to big games cause they tend to fold under pressure hopefully with richt, and upcoming bball class this changes though

They got beat by a better team. That is all.

Exactly. I'm really not sure how people thought this finesse team was going to become the most vicious defensive, rebounding machine after an entire year.

This team accomplished a **** of a lot, but they were always missing fundamental toughness. They let refs dictate how they play with BS calls quite often, and then getting soft...not to mention, something went south for Jekiri after early January...he went from a man possessed to a warm body providing glimpses of defense. Still very curious he was injured all year.

Coach L is easily the best coach we have ever had and has done a great job...but while he seemed to stress 3 point defense and rebounding, this team many games played like they weren't interested in all of that.

Villanova is simply peaking at the right time, UM has been hanging on at best. When they are heaving almost half court 3s and draining them, and throwing up contested shots with 1 on the shot clock, making them and getting foul calls on top...pretty clear its their night.

UM

the questions really is not to underscore the accomplishments of the programs i.e. sweet 16 and CWS, its more so why does it always end in a beatdown, even football, when they build to a pivotal game to win the division, they not only lose them, they get blown out
