You overestimate the incompetence of this staff. Kids are only playing hard now because they knew their country club and trips to top golf were going to get taken away from them by real staff that holds them accountable. Welcome to 7-5/8-4 ****. We are the "C" student.

James Fired then Jeff Purinton hired. No extension for Manny. Money in for support staff, defensive coordinator, and O line coach. Then in 3 years get Mario when Oregon fire him and Manny contract ends.

Ridiculous. Questionable fans who want "their team" to ever lose. I am no where close to a manny fan and hope when its all said and done he gets canned but give me a break being upset after watching the future stars of this program playing well beyond their years and earning victory in back to back weeks against imo 2 of the best teams this season in the ACC

I’m sorry brother but I don’t get excited about beating PITT!!!! (and being 4-4 on the season). The thing to be excited about is TVD and the young players. This win does absolutely nothing for the program except continue to keep mediocrity around. No disrespect, but these are the type of wins that the Pitt, Syracuse, and Wake Forest fans would get excited about. Again, I understand what you’re saying, but looking at the big picture all this win does is cause damage.

Winning is frustrating?

Manny is far from a great coach. Everyone agrees.

But spending your free time hating on your team sounds miserable.

The best possible outcome is the team continues to improve as nothing matters until the AD is gone. As long as James is somewhat in charge it won't matter if Diaz is the coach or not.

You don't get it. 8-4 he stays. 8-4 next year he stays. Blake stays. It's been 15 years.... Golden had a 9-4, so did Shannon. You all are delusional. Wake up.
 
Go look at what Saban and Dabo did when they first got there...it wasn’t pretty. Clemson fans were calling for Dabo’s head also until he made changes and the rest is history. I’m SUPER excited about Van Dyke’s future, but now what has to happen(if we keep Manny) is Manny needs to go out and hire an elite D-coordinator. That, and we still commit way too many stupid penalties. If these problems are addressed then we have potential to be pretty good over the next few years.

7-5 isn’t saving Manny’s job. We are not reaching the ACC championship game because we don’t have the tie breakers against UVA or UNC and they are not losing 3 conference games. Manny is still done.

But boy does TVD, Rooster, Keyshawn, our safeties make this job look a lot, lot better for the next guy.
