I was really surprised at how the Pats used Dorsett. They loved those slants and outs without letting him run downfield to blow the top off the coverage. He’s still not a great route runner, not a natural and struggled to get separation in the short to mid routes. Despite all that, PD caught almost every ball thrown his way last season yet he couldn’t get any real burn. Just seemed strange to me given how weak and thin that WR room was.

Think Brandin Cooks during his tenure in NE. NE love a certain “type” of WR there.
