Pringle's benching

NOT a complaint -- Fletcher was outstanding at the end -- but is anyone surprised Pringle got only one carry the entire game?
I'm guessing it was probably related to pass protection vs a strong DL. On the other hand, he might have provided burst to a sub-300 yard offense, especially during the long periods when we couldn't move the ball.
Again, NOT complaining. I just thought it was strange, and no one asked Dawson/Mario about it at the press conference.
Our coaches make terrible decisions. It’s like they feel the pressure more than our players. When they feel pressure they make odd decisions.

Why would you stop doing what’s been working?

We can’t expect Fletcher to carry the load every game. We have great backups and all with great hands too.

I don’t know how anyone could have watched that game and thought Fletcher should’ve gotten less carries
No one is saying Fletcher should have got less carries but our coaches almost cost us the game with bad game management.

You don’t bench explosive players. If anything he should have been your 3rd down pass catching running back.

Could be wrong but I don’t remember us running many 2 RB sets this season. If you are playing Pringle, you are sitting Fletcher. Pringle also can’t pass pro. There’s always **** you can pick apart but the RB rotation yesterday ain’t one of them

Pringle will get reps the next 3 games. Lyle had 0, marty had 0, and Lofton had 1. The sad truth: all four of the big boys could have gotten 3-5 touches each.

With how we were doing max protect I get it but there were multiple runs of fletcher's where I said, if that were pringle he's GONE. Mark had a **** of a game though, not taking anything away from him.

Fletcher had his best game IMO by far showing some things he hasn't prior. It's no disrespect to question why others might have missed carries. The entire offense was a mystery if you ask me and disjointed.

Still, likely won't be popular, there were two runs I saw where I felt like Pringle takes it to the house. That's basic though, the defense would play that down different if Pringle was in the game. So really it's a toss up if he's in the same spot where Fletcher could've used that one extra gear.

The defense won that game and Fletcher showed up like never before.

It's like Dawson can't see what is working. Mid season we needed some creative ways to move the ball. Yesterday Fletcher would have a good run from a power look, nothing fancy, and Dawson would go away from it.

The heading on this is wild, Fletcher was always the starter.. Pringle got an opportunity when he was banged up.. Fletcher back recovered.. Pringle has earned more reps but yesterday they were more focused on malicat than anything..

Everyone around here likes to focus on the results, and not the process.

This offense was dormant mid-season until Pringle resuscitated it. Dead to rights.

We snuck a win by scoring 10 points and needed a last second INT to seal it. Yes, Pringle should’ve gotten carries.

The gameplan overall was awful, Pringle included. Thank god fletcher put us on his back.

Bruh the dude we made the decision to hand the ball off to was averaging a first down every time he touched the football.

Happy as **** for Mark MFn Fletcher Jr.

In boxing, there's a phrase that "styles make fights" and the same applies to football. Fletcher's bruising style is what works against A&M and it showed.
