Pringle is NOT IN THE portal ANYMORE

Funny the two teams he’s getting linked to jawja and bama have been known for big bruising backs and now they want to grab this nimble speed back

Pringle must just be looking at the money if he’s considering Bama. Kalen DeBoer teams aren’t running teams even though he had a 1000 yard RB his last season at Washington. If you look at DeBoer going back to Fresno State and currently at Bama he just doesn’t prioritize the running game.

My best guess:

1. Fletch
2. Brown
3. Portal RB
4. Lyle/CWH (1 will stay/1 will leave imo)
5. Mallory

Lyle just broke the record for yards in the playoffs. Brown helped solidify the win vs olemiss. But yeah, let's give out pitty snaps to the guy who didn't execute in the few snaps he got in the playoffs.

I want him here. He's the goods. But being that fickle and your parents saying "womp, womp, womp" celebrating the loss is a little much. This seems emotional. Good luck in the future. Go be great.
I think you meant Fletcher.

That tweet of what you described is gone.

Not really. Complaining about the run game plan? Yes. And it was deserved.

And Fletcher over the playoff run for the first time in his career was able to actually gain >5 yards. He was fine to good before that. He had an excellent playoff performance.

Big boy football requires big boys... In the championship what run plays hit? Is Toney a big boy?

Does it make any sense to have 4 of the exact same type of 'big boy' RBs on the roster? Fletcher, Brown, Mallory, and Lofton... CWH isn't gunna contribute. And Lyle was objectively terrible.

If you didn't enter next season with the PLAN of Fletcher being RB1 and Pringle RB2 it was a terrible plan.

"If you didn't enter next season with the PLAN of Fletcher being RB1 and Pringle RB2 it was a terrible plan"

Nobody has said this wasn't the plan.
Pringle took himself out of the equation.

a home run hitter that never hits home runs............not much use for that. Him and any other RB under 200 lbs should not be looking here and Miami shouldnt be recruiting them. Not saying he is a bad player but the scheme was not going to be a good fit. Need to be able to break tackles and he cant do that.
Having arbitrary weight requirements is how you miss on good players.

Some guys play bigger than their weight. Some guys have the frame to add a lot more weight in college while others don't. Simply deciding a player isn't worth bc of one single data point while ignoring everything else is scouting methodology imo.

Jeremiah Love was 190 in HS, the same year CJ Baxter was 215 and the #1 RB. Who would you rather have today?

I mean the biggest thing was pass pro he had to get better but that’s every single back coming into college **** near

I think he’s upset he didn’t play more in the playoffs.

We value him and he was in line to play a lot next year. But I understand why he didn’t play more in the playoffs. He was a liability in pass protection, which is to be expected for a small freshman.

We will fight to keep him here. He is very talented.

I peeped in the replay he was not very happy on the sidelines when Mali scored and we were down 21-24. He is definitely a special back. Dawson could've used him as another speed weapon but Mark Fletcher we lived and died on these playoffs.
