Wear can I get those orange and green shades bro? There's homer and then there's this lol

I want to know where the Homer is in this though?

Only 7 of our commits are in the top 20

Majority of those are the consensus top kids around the area besides perhaps Rasul and Uche to some.

I took into consideration where they project, potential and production.

Rasul is raw yes but he was explosive and dangerous even last season for Coral Gables. He's raw from some technique standpoint as a RB but when you talk about his size and elite speed. You cannot teach that and he shows it on the field. I expect him to only get better as time goes on as he is raw from the position but he has every tool you would want. I expect Rasul to have a huge senior year not having to share carries with Keino Mike who transferred to Central.

He might be a little high rated to some on this list but it's ceiling, projection, potential and production that went into this. He was very productive last year and wasn't the only featured back on his team as a Junior either.

I'm gonna give you an example. Yearby, I felt was a better back than Cook for majority of their high school careers but it was clear who was more explosive and had the higher ceiling. Yearby might have been the better back at the time but I always felt Cook was the better prospect because of the tools he had, that with a little refining he would tap into his potential. Go figure, Dalvin Cook exploded his senior year as he continued to develop as a runningback.

It's all about projection and ceiling and how you can maximize that god given athleticism, measurables and ability.

Now I'm not saying Rasul is Cook cause I feel they have two different play styles. Rasul is a top back in the 2016 class nationally for sure, it's been coming out and it's clear. BUT he has nowhere hit his ceiling yet and could easily continue to move up through websites rankings. I view him as elite for what he's capable of, it's how I project him. He's not a finished product but he's impressive.

Remember.... Projection is the biggest thing

Uche has produced and his measurables are top notch. I guess I'll be called a Homer for rating him higher than Rice from Norland right? Uche was more productive, better measurables (he's bigger, stronger and faster at this stage by almost 30 pounds)

Am I a Homer for rating Jamel Cook higher than Cedrick Wright?

Am I a Homer for two of the top three being prospects not committed nor truly considering Miami right now?

Come on man.

Thanks for the list GEO. It's subjective like all rankings/ratings, but it does not show any favoritism in my view. I do think it cries out like a baby with colic in the middle of the night, for a HC that can do a far better job closing on top SoFl recruits. Also on attracting and closing on top recruits outside of the State of Miami. Guys like Manuel whose family and him are Canes fans, but not of Golden.

Great list geo

Im tellin yall that CB jackson going to kill it
Everyone is raving about this kid. Really wish he had some film. Just hope he stays under the radar because of no film.also goes to tell you if you scout your area really well. Or your pipeline really well. You can find studs way before others.

I see star all over Byrd and everyone aee Star all over Jackson. Pair that with ced and Jaquan. Thats a **** of secondary. Plus if we get that richardson kid from who I believe is a stud from Atlantic HS we will be set. Our CB haul last year was so **** poor. Hopefully Micheal Jackson is good.

Problem is that Byrd is already well known yet he still seems to want to be a cane. The word isnt out yet about DJackson yet. Count him as the defensive recruit I am most worried about losing. (Bruce being the guy on offense)

I agree on mullens and pinder there way too high. Also if palm beach county was included Richards would be top 5.

Great stuff, Geo. I can't wait to see Rasul's senior year. It will be interesting to see if he keeps rising or plateaus.

We've talked about before, but I just wish Donovan Thompson had a little more pop. He's an awesome football player, but he doesn't have the explosive tackling or the speed of some other small backers.

I just dont see how they can take a kid like james king but not Thompson. They can take a kid like Henley but not DCW. Take a kid like Fines but not aaron Thompson. I just dont get it.
