Interesting to hear him say how pivotal it was to have investment into the program. I mean I know we knew that, but I like hearing it from him, that it was a requirement.

His phone interview yesterday with the Oregon radio station was sensational. No departing coach does that.
We legit don't get this guy if he hadn't played here. It's really that simple - yes we've shown that we'll back him with resources, but this is an emotional decision first and foremost.

You can just tell that everything he is saying is genuine. I was a Lane guy, but I think we found the right coach for us. He brings some intensity that we've been lacking. I can't wait for us to go to Texas A&M and see what we've got.
