Predicting Kevin Harris to Miami on Tuesday

Reality will set in for Simpson on big time recruiting. He’ll soon find out how tough it is to take a kid from SEC country

Truth hurts at times; but it is what it is! The NCAA cannot keep turning a blind eye to this kind of stuff.

So, just read the very long article written by the SEC guys from Rivals. They were out at his school today. Story is written like it could go either way except it is said at the end that the feeling at the school was he was going to Tuscaloosa.

Story was posted on the Bama SEC board. In short,
- schools are very different. City vs country, large vs small, class size, etc. Seemed very impressed with the development, nfl stuff, alumni contacts, etc for life after football at Bama. Didn't mention any of that for UM. (not sure why considering he met dozens of alumni).

-has good relationships with both coaches : Jess Simpson and Tosh Lupoi

-schools plan to use him differently. Bama would make him more mobile (he sees himself as very mobile and flexible )

- he went back to Alabama on the Monday after our visit with his mother. She hadn't been there the first time. They got the full academic pitch, alumni connections, etc. Says he wants to major in aerospace engineering

- Says parents don't care where he goes. It's his choice. Family sat down last week and made Venn diagrams of the pros and cons of each school- left final decision up to him.

- told the coaching staff when he decided. Said "they were excited. Said they'd been holding the spot for him. They really want him badly. He has a great relationship with the coach and knows he can trust him to make him a better player."

-Says his recruitment won't be over when he publicly reveals his decision because he is planning on taking additional official visits in the fall. But he doesn't think anything will change his mind

Well, he can't official to the U so he must be choosing us tomorrow!

How can anyone pick Alabama if academics are important???

Incredible people write the dumbest things, like the kid just discovered alabama won last year lol

I get that "bags" can be used as an excuse for missing on a kid, but WTF do people think saban says to kids the week before NSD that makes them cancel an OV to another school? It takes a boat load of imagination to think there isn't money involved.

So he coming or did Bama drop the bags?

There is money involved, but usually this is early for bad season. It usually starts after the regular season and really picks up in January.

So he told coaches of his decision a few days ago and they were excited? That seems to indicate it’s us by what Stefan and Ivins were hearing from their sources. Then those close to them say he was impressed by Bama’s success in the draft?? Seems like time to justify the bags 💰!! Hope we get him, but looking really bleak right now.

On another note, wonder how many people, particularly disgruntled former players, are aware that the IRS pays up to 30% of fines and taxes they recover to whistleblowers of tax fraud?

The beauty is they won’t be implicating themselves by coming forward. Only the ones dropping the bags 💰 if over $14k in a year (giftors) are the ones committing fraud, not those receiving them.

If NCAA won’t do ****, hopefully some player will look to get paid again and come forward.

I be thinking sometimes its as simple as u dont have to go to class or some ****

Bamas in 10 years has developed the best nfl pipeline, that **** is long and they use it. Saban is a god**** animal man he completely took over college in 10 years.
