Some notes -

* I believe Walton and Yearby emerge from the initial RB Committee.
* Get mad if you want. Still don't see anything that makes me think Gus emerges. Gray I've stressed should be a WR in college.
* The use of Herndon at H-Back is going to be a key piece to the offense.
* While Waters, Lewis and Cager are 2nd team. They will get a fair share of snaps.
* Would not be shocked if one of St. Louis or Milo pushes into the lineup as season progresses., which should shift Gall to second team and move one of Darling or McDermott to that guard position or possibly Milo or St. Louis into that guard position.
* While I see McCord and Owens sharing SLB. I expect McCord to be used more situationally for blitzing purposes. Owens will take more snaps.
* Jaquan might not be a starter yet but I can definitely see him getting starter quality snaps. Too good of a player to keep off the field. I expect Miami to utilize him early on similar to the Star position in defensive backfields that college programs have come to use now. A nickel/safety. He fits it to the tee. I see that position making its way into the defense with the recent recruitment of prospects like Jaquan, Cedrick Wright in 2016 and Jalen Patterson in 2018.

Are you just guessing with the STAR position or did they install that over the spring?

Berrios should not see the field over Waters or Lewis.

Coley should move to the slot in 3-WR sets, and Lewis should be the 2nd slot.

I'm sure my opinion isn't popular, but I saw nothing from Berrios that suggested he's a guy we have to have on the field, at this point in his college career.

And what's most interesting to me about the Berrios hype ... He doesn't have any of the "measurables" our staff is always touting ...

The thing is that Berrios and Kaaya seem to have the most chemistry of any Wr on the roster. Lewis hasn't shown me anything and Waters hasn't been consistent (probably not his fault).. But I think Berrios is the most talented slot receiver we have and Kaaya trusts him.

Can't forget he was 8 months off ACL surgery last year. Had a lot of highlights in the spring game as well.

Stacy Coley needs to show me something in the return game this year.

I prefer RB's at that position. They have more wiggle and will produce a higher avg. starting position vs. swinging for the fences with supper speedy WR's...

Gray maybe a good option here or maybe even Walton?

R.Jenkins will start opposite Bush count in it.

If he's fully back from his injury physically and mentally, I definitely agree with you. May not have the physical wow-factor that Carter does, but from what both have shown in their limited playing time he's much better overall player.

I think Cager shirts. Jenkins starts every game as long as he stays healthy. We had best pray that the LB's stay healthy as IMHO we don't have much depth. Mayes plays ahead of Jackson. Milo shirts. Corn starts. Tucker and Herndon will be a camp battle. Moten will be third on the depth chart. Earl Moore will be in the mix.

My Depth Chart

Here are the ones that I differ:

RB: Gus Edwards | Joe Yearby (possible suspension?) | Mark Walton or Trayone Gray
FB: Walter Tucker | Chris Herndon
H-B: Chris Herndon | David Njoku (Tucker is FB, Herndon is H-B)

WR: Herb Waters | Stacy Coley (Waters or Scott should have a breakout year)
WR: Rashawn Scott | Tyre Brady (Cager should RS we have enough WR this year)
Slot: Braxton Berrios OR Malcolm Lewis (camp battle)

(Agree on the starting 5 for OL but backups will depend on who is healthy. We like to shuffle guys around to get the best 5 on the field, I think you listed the top 9 guys but I would add Jones and Knighton to mix for depth)

LT: KC McDermott | Tyree St. Louis
LG: Alex Gall | Hunter Wells
C: Nick Linder | Hunter Knighton (I think we need Gall at G)
RG: Danny Isidora | Sunny Odogwu
RT: Trevor Darling | Bar Milo

SDE: Chad Thomas | Ufomba Kamalu | Jelani Hamilton (Kamalu over Hamilton)
DT: Ufomba Kamalu | Anthony Moten | Jelani Hamilton (kamalu over Moten)

OLB: Tyriq McCord | Darrion Owens (McCord over Owens)

CB: Artie Burns | Ryan Mayes (Mayes over Jackson)

Nickel: Corn Elder | Jaquan Johnson (Elder over Johnson)

S: Deon Bush | Dallas Crawford OR Jaquan Johnson (Dallas over Johnson)
S: Rayshawn Jenkins | Jamal Carter (If Jenkins is healthy, he will start)

If Kaaya stays healthy I have us down for 10 Wins...
