To be fair, no one on this board seriously thought Miami might be in contention at the beginning of the year and 75% of this board thought Mario should be fired and that was still true like two months ago.
Wait, Oregon was an awful pick?Lets keep it a buck....most of us wouldve had picks along these lines. Except PSU, Oregon, and Texas. Those were just awful picks.

Yeah. Clemson was another one. Can even throw LSU in there. Those teams just didnt warrant WINNING NC talk. Playoffs..again, I could put a few in a 12 team field. But not to win.Clemson? Everyone who watched last season saw that Klubick was terrible.
Let us never forget that he was run down by our small, slow LB, Corey Flagg. A game in which Emory Williams lead us to victory.
Not to mention how poorly Dabo used the portal.
What very few of these “experts” appreciate is the value of portal recruiting and on field results.

If you thought any of these teams were good enough to win it all, you should be in a different line of work.
Lies we are back 2 back 2 back 2 back 2 back off-season champs.. it's like clockwork how we punch in and get drunk on @DMoney practice reports and then the 15-0 start flying..To be fair, no one on this board seriously thought Miami might be in contention at the beginning of the year and 75% of this board thought Mario should be fired and that was still true like two months ago.

PSU was the most baffling. Loaded with veterans, coming off a national semifinal appearance. Turns out Drew Allar was just not very good.PSU

My sincere question about Drew Allar is was he ever good in college, or did he simply fit the “mold” of a QB? It seems so often that high school QB’s are rated high based on physical attributes. Which I can understand, but so many never develop the mental side of playing the game at a much faster pace. But the experts keep rating them as good college QB’s because of those same physical attributes.PSU was the most baffling. Loaded with veterans, coming off a national semifinal appearance.
