Pre-Game Last Night....Awesome

It would be cool if, after the stadium darkens, you hear the sound of hurricane force winds and trees/structures breaking. A nice long lead up. Next, the siren goes off and then... BOOM!...the pyrotechnics explode and the players enter the field through the smoke as as the lights come back on..

Man, I miss living in the 305! I still make it down for at least a game a year, but it's tough now being all the way up in Jacksonville (aka Southern Georgia) and having a 5yr old and a 1mo old. I'm bringing my daughter down for her first ever Canes game vs Pitt on 11/24. She is so pumped!!

One month old is a little young for that trip?

Lol no doubt. Infant is a boy, 5yr old is my girl. She has yet to see the Canes live, tho shes huge into The U and gears up with me every weekend for the game, throws on her chain when we get turnovers, you name it. She's awesome! She was also hardcore brainwashed from birth. Timing just hasnt worked out for her to join me yet. This Fall we will change that. Cant wait!!

They are copying the pre-game activities at Heat games. The videos and the fire is all straight out of the AAA production, which is cool there and cool last night, loved it!

Exactly. Has an NBA feel in general. Is pretty sweet.

Just kidding you. Enjoy the trip and the game.

For those not at the game and knowing you see squat on TV, the pre-game was one of the best night time displays ever. Video board showing players walking down tunnel from locker room; stadium was darkened with orange/green on the stadium ribbon, siren, music & buildup to team taking the field thru smoke/fire was one of the best ever. Great job....LETS GO CANES!

What song did they come to?

LoL sounds like my childhood memory of Hurricane Andrew...good times bro! 😂

Jesu Christo. That effing guy. It's like a crackhead version of DJ Irie.......and truth be told.....Irie blows.

Irie is actually a really good dude. Like, genuinely a good person. But I understand your aversion to annoying stadium hype men -- not sure who on earth is pumped up by that.
