Pre fall camp offensive buzz from Miami herald

IMO I think it would be ideal to bring Lingard along slowly throughout the season. Let's say up to week 6-8 see how he handles a light relief type role (in blowout games) & then unleash a fresh/fresher Lingard on the CFB world for the last 4 regular season games, ACCCG, & playoffs.

But then again what do I know, I'm just sitting at a desk playing make believe football coach.

Just being real but it’s not exactly a secret. I mean he was pretty much getting the Seantrell treatment at times.

He’s never been about the early am life.
It’s not a secret, it’s probably true. But having a member of the program tell the press that? I wouldn’t be happy if I was Manny, let alone Thomas.

My only question about DJ is can he hold up, Homer was one tough SOB. DJ is just electric with the ball, but getting 15+ carries a game is a whole different animal.

Yeah man, they didn't say much at all about Jarren. Seems to be a consistent theme.

I'd be shocked as **** if Williams did much of anything, nothing against the guy, but when it was said that he lost focus when he didn't get PT last year and then the whole transfer thing, IMO those are significant red flags.

I'd love to see Burns stay healthy and get some burn (see what I did there?). Gotta feel for a kid that's had to deal with injury after injury.

Don't think that kid has any interest in playing football at all...hopefully proves me wrong, I'm rooting for him to do so.

Yeah it sucks but maybe Richt wasn't crazy for not playing him. Something seems off.

That pic they used smh. Even the herald jumping on knowles lol. I hope all of it lights a fire under him at least for UF. He can crash back down after that. And count another on the harris bandwagon. Dallas is a gamer and Lingard is a beast for sure, but Harris just has that classic born to be a rb look.

The OL is what it is, getting better still lots to improve. But as they try to get better individually they need to stick together and help each other. Glad mckinnie and those guys talked about communication. Mental side is going to be key for that unit. Not just knowing assignments but the mental toughness to fight through those growing pains they will have. Sum better than the parts situation. Even though I think the parts can be pretty good but as said still long ways to go.

About Payton, one UM administrator said: "He's not exceptional at anything, but he’s above average at everything."

Smh.. who was he talking to? Hey Barry, you see that WR over there? He was an early enrollee who caught everyone's attention in the spring. He was the 54th overall player, and a guy 247 scouted as as future 2nd round pick. "He's not exceptional at anything. Oh but he's above average at everything."

Really??
