I have several friends that recently had a relatively mild case of Covid, but it weakened their defenses and got pneumonia after they "recovered".

Wow. Did not know this. Dude was always the one guy in this program that I had legitimate covid concerns about. Sucks that it hit him this hard but glad to see it looks like he's on the mend.
