I’d rather have one elite guy with 3-4 good WRs behind him.Would rather have 3 or 4 really good WR (plus the TEs and RBs) who King can spread the ball around to than have 1 main target all the time.
To me that produces better results, makes it harder on the opp D, and is more fun to watch.
I don't want a go to guy. I want King to be able to choose. Seems extremely obvious now that I typed it out.
I think that’s what guys are saying by having a #1 WR. Having that elite playmaker that the D has to account for makes those 3-4 good players look better.
Ahmon was truly elite, and in a scheme like this, every WR would benefit from having a guy like him on the field.
