Like apocryphalFixed.
fyi, I will be posting a CIS glossary of terms and spellings in the future. There is a lot to keep track of and even a few archaic terms that posters may have forgotten over the years.
don't forget to add some of the newer terms, like "maude". Please and thank you.
As in Maude Lebowski?!![]()
We had DL depth issues from the outset.
We have 13 DL and 8 of them are freshmens.
Blissett was not practicing last week when I eves-dropped on practice.
Holley hasn't been heard from and I suspect is not practicing either.
Q. Williams and Roberts played DT in the scrimmage.
As best I can tell, this is the current depth chart:
DE Roche, Phillips, Harvey, Chantz, Cam
DT Ford, Silvera, Miller, Hunte, Roberts, Q. Williams
excellent 1,000th message!What IV heard
1. Offense moving at warp speed
2. Deriq is a special player
3. Rooster making a big push for RB1
4. WR just okay
5. DT nicked up causing some gash plays up the middle.

Well considering he led all WR's in yards and had a TD in this scrimmage I'd say he's ready.Mallory better be ready
And, that's why the freshmen RB duo had a field day. Also, this yields to damper the excitement level on the OL.I went back and listened to the interview. Supposedly Roche, Ford, Nesta and Holley were all held out last scrimmage, but all were small nicks from what Diaz said
And the big runs were vs 2nd and 3rd teamAnd, that's why the freshmen RB duo had a field day. Also, this yields to damper the excitement level on the OL.
During the clip of Restrepo's long run two walk ons were playing. And the big runs were vs 2nd and 3rd team
Ragone's *** was on the field in almost every big highlight from the scrimmage, hahaDuring the clip of Restrepo's long run two walk ons were playing.
We can also hope that a better playbook and quarterback will help.I know this post will be negged because you're not allowed to say anything on this site other than Miami has 85 kids who will all split the Heisman, but this is not a Miami caliber group of WRs right now.
Hopefully the freshmen can change that. I think Payton will show he is in that class. But overall, it's not a great group.
He's been at srtiker, so he's 3rd team & won't play unless we're up by 30.Ragone's *** was on the field in almost every big highlight from the scrimmage, haha
We heard pretty much the same last year. Mallory is a scrimmage titan. Hopefully this season Lashlee can finally exploit the talent everyone knows Mallory has.Well considering he led all WR's in yards and had a TD in this scrimmage I'd say he's ready.
No doubt. I'm not saying they all suck, I'm not saying they can't make plays, I'm not saying the offense won't be good.We can also hope that a better playbook and quarterback will help.
I hope you didn't think I took your comment as bashing them, because I didn't. Nobody will confuse them for any of our championship receiver groups, but It's still my hope that at least one of those three really flashes this year.No doubt. I'm not saying they all suck, I'm not saying they can't make plays, I'm not saying the offense won't be good.
None of that.
It's just not a collective group that scares anyone yet. Hopefully by the end of the year we can get some combination of better coaching, overall improvement and influx of some of the younger kids. But snap 1, were it to take place today, if we were to come out in 11 would most likely be Harley, Wiggins, and Pope. When you've churned out the WRs we have here over the history of this program, that just doesn't stack up.
I know this. I'm saying quite a few big plays were vs the 2nd and 3rd.He's been at srtiker, so he's 3rd team & won't play unless we're up by 30.
