Practice Update?

I enjoy them because you get a sense of individual players and coaches personalities/character. Other than that they are useless

Go back and watch post-practice interviews from the Manny or Richt eras and they are saying the exact same things. ****, go watch a post-practice interview from another team and they are going to say the same things.

Will never understand the demand for this sort of content lol
I’ve always enjoyed hearing from the guys - players and coaches. Get to actually see what they look like without a helmet and pads and get to know them on a more personal level.

Are their responses kinda the same? Of course, but each individual gives their own takes. It also teaches the players some life skills like public speaking and dealing with the media.

Gaby & Lake said yesterday that media access this week is very limited, if at all. There are no updates posted on any site for yesterday nor a time for today or going forward....
After this week Depth Charts will start to form to build some continuity. Not every position will be settled, but most of the 1’s and 2’s will be set after this week. Not surprised it’s limited access this week

Oh yes, we are getting the Belichick treatment.

Get ******* used to it. He is not going to reveal anything. If he can keep practices quiet and silent, he absolutely will do that.

Best part about the silent treatment: When there is a camera on you, a coach can lit into a player, but not that bad because it might be picked up and its not a good look.

No camera = no filter. Coaches can tell them kids how much they like their mamas.

After 2 weeks of camp what info do we actually have? If you really think about it other than Citizen being hurt what have we learned? We're better off not even making daily threads.
This site could never be that lucky.

Didn’t Mario make a joke about knowing who spies on practice from the parking garages?

I heard that

did some good things out there today.
did some bad things out there today.
we got a lot of work to do.

wash rinse repeat

They keeping the lid on the news tighter than ****'s hatband!

He's not giving Jimbo NOTHING.

And we probably won't see much variety our first two games. Run run run.

Saw these clips of the RB and WR drills. If this is any indication of where the RBs currently are, I would definitely place Parrish ahead of Franklin, Knighton and Chaney at this point of camp. Parrish has the best all-around package in terms of footwork, speed, catching the ball and blocking. The others have simple drops and are on par or behind Parrish in other areas. The other RBs have an opportunity to catch up to Parrish because camp is only at the halfway point, but from viewing this video, it doesn’t appear to be close at this point in Fall camp.

But one thing is clear, and that is that Coach Kevin Smith has a deep and talented RB room to work with. No excuses in having another running game like last season. The Canes should have a great year pounding the rock with Mirabal coaching the OL and Gattis calling the plays.

I think Kighton still working thru his wrist injury, every video I see him dropping easy passes and he didnt really have drops like that in games last year..

I’m not disagreeing with your point about the RB’s, but what is the basis of your opinion that Parrish is number 1, and by a margin? Was it something you saw in this video, something you read, or saw somewhere else?

Well Parrish struggled Big time in the scrimmage so there's that.

Knighton had good footwork, but he drops his head on contact and he dropped a LOT of passes. Chaney had solid footwork and speed, but also dropped a few of passes. Franklin’s footwork wasn’t as good as the others.

Parrish had good footwork and balance, caught every pass (even a pass thrown very high) and blocked with enthusiasm and power.

I am no expert, but if I wanted to run an offense with the RB catching out of the backfield and the RB picking up blitzes, Parrish would definitely be RB1.

But the others have time to prove themselves. But they need to step it up.
