Does the team seem mature in the sense that guys are serious about repeating as a 10 win team and not letting it be a flash in the pan season like 2017? Who’s been a leader who’s a coach on the field type? At least from an accountability standpoint

There are a lot of old players, which is good. And I think we've recruited higher character guys because we have better recruiters and more money. Those are the kids everyone wants. So I feel much better about the character of the team than under Manny.
 
If I'm betting on August 6th, CJ Daniels, Malachi Toney and Elija Lofton will be in that mix. I could see Trader leading the team in explosive plays.

Is there a noticeable vibe shift on the defensive side of the ball compared to last year? Does it look different overall?

In terms of arm talent and passing the ‘look test’ does any back up QB look like they could lead a good offense? Not just like the Clemson Emory Williams game plan offense
