Catching the ball consistently has been a problem here for years too. Hankerson had problems, dorsett early in his career, coley had some drops early, walford had issues with it, and its more i just cant think of right now.

In my opinion it depends on the status of the offensive line. If they are sucking real hard I would probably not go live. If the staff feels the o-line can block somewhat then I would allow it.
For ***s sake, it’s football, they hit each other. When we go to WiffleBall season we can hold down going live. But now sooner we separate the wheat from the chaff the better. Or so I heard Farmer Jones say on Mr Rodgers show.

Lol at anyone’s thinking that they’re going to be taught something not taught by any other coach for catching the ball. Hopefully they’re more open this year by play calling, which will make the it easier to catch.
