No joke- the death toll of the hurricane actually just doubled due to some geniuses in Virginia that were swept away in flood waters in Roanoke. If the storm remnants progress up the East Coast and hits the weekend MENSA meetings on Strahng Guiland then we could be looking at additional massive life loss.

That said, all this is irrelevant to our game in Charlottesville.

Yes it was clearly a joke. Just because a part of a state was impacted by severe weather, doesn't mean the entire state was. OP was worried about the game this weekend being affected even though that part of Virginia hasn't been effected by the storm.
