Pretty clear that Powell smells a rat. He's playing chicken with Fat Al. He's not enrolling until Ped State hires someone other than Chubb Rock. That's the problem with recruiting kids smarter than you are. Powell's reading Chubb's actions and not paying attention to empty words.

They came back from break late this yr and a bunch of schools have been slow getting the transcripts to schools across the country for EE. It's the reason Berrios and Young were the first to arrive. The out of sate schools are on top of this. KC wanted to come Tuesday but couldn't because of this. Just got on campus today. Powell and the other kids from the area are all being delayed because of their high schools.

I don't know whether to laugh or to cry if this is indeed true.

Al sat in the dark for days, unreachable, praying that Penn State would offer him the head coaching job. After that, the morons around here tried to spin it positively in regard to recruiting with the whole "if he won't leave for Penn State, he won't go anywhere!"

Since then all we've done is lose arguably our most important recruit in Valentine and now this.

It's true. I have a close friend in the business. Out of respect for him, I'll say no more. But the situation is sickening to me.

I believe that. I think it's an issue with the admissions office... I had a school send me my acceptance letter during my sophomore year of college and they called me to verify (didn't know they did that until then). Anyway they were 2 years late... I was already attending another university... Admissions office slip up too...
 
It would be an "admissions" issue insofar as they cant admit him until his official transcript is in, which would be in the hands of his HS administrators office. And not in UM's control.
 
Don't bring up that AG to Penn State BS. They got James Franklin. Could be something else outside of that.
 
So they got Tabor who was going to be an EE at Arizona to flip even though they weren't in the final two, now BP another EE possibly flipping right after the Dead Period? Something smells fi$hy.
 
this one is not on Golden it is on guys like Bakus ( TOS) and other so called people in the know who keep publishing BS about Golden leaving. I would also suggest our so called " fans" and their negativity have helped fuel this as well.
 
Powell didn't like the full court press on Cook. No way he liked Golden to Penn State stuff. He said as much. Kid is making sure Golden isn't playing him. Clearly this guy has done nothing to get the recruits wavering to buy in since this weekend.

Another board made something up so that precludes me from making my own determination? Don't be dopey forever, bub. If it's a transcript hold up, then what makes uf.aag a player? They don't require transcripts?

What fueled it was him sitting down with Penn State and his inability to make anyone with any type of bullshyte detector believe he wants to be here.
 
I am beginning to think we need a Canes board with a breathalyzer attachment. It would not allow you to post unless you blow under a .08. Might make the boards much more readable.
