The WR group on this is actually pretty talented.

Tyre Brady has actually had a pretty nice career. Jury is out on Sam Bruce ever doing anything. Did Derrick Griffin fall off the face of the earth?

Wild card is that @apfenny3 kid. I heard he's all hustle and like an extra coach out on the field.

I’m interested to see how we can do on returns this year.

Braxton was huge in the punt return game, one of the best in the country. We’ve got speed to burn in the WR group but I’m hoping one of them can step in and consistently get us some yards in the PR game.

I’m thinking Thomas has to be the guy this year right? Think he has the right combo of speed and shiftiness to do some damage there.

****. Offense should light it up if we can just get decent, consistent QB play. With talent like that at the skills positions, you really don't have to do much.

You and everyone else is sleeping on Burns.

Burns will play ahead of Lingard and Davis.
Davis yes, Lingard no.

Davis will most likely redshirt after playing in a few games early due to the new rules.

And I'm not sleeping on him, it's just uncertain how healthy he'll be throughout the season & Richt typically doesn't play 4 RB's.

Brady barely played freshman year and was suspended a ton his sophomore year. He had a great year with Marshall last year.

Very much mistaken. Burns > Lingard as an inside runner. When the games count Burns will be in before Lingard. Guaranteed

That backfield is looking very crowded. It's going to be hard to find enough carries for all those guys, especially if Burns stays healthy.

I think I read a few months back that Rosier expects to see formations near the Redzone in which we have three tailbacks out there. It probably means with Dallas moving into the slot and the other two in the backfield (I think he mentioned Homer and I think the other was Lo, but Burns would make more sense due to his power.)

It is going to be exciting to see what actually does happen in games and which RBs get the bulk of the carries by the end of the season.

A lot of spread teams use the "diamond" formation in short yardage. With the QB in the pistol,. flanked by a RB on each side and a RB lined up deep behind him.

Could be something we see. I know people around here have mentioned that the Pistol has been utilized in the Spiring. Maybe a variant like that could also be in the cards.
With the talent we have at WR, RB and young potential at TE the sky is the limit.

Crazy thing is that team with a decent corch could be bowl eligible every single year in the corstal.

@apfenny3 would also be wildcat QB and PR/KR

Facts i just think if LC dont step up Mark Pope, Hightower, Harley, one of them boys gonna take his spot i hope he steps up 6,5 we can use but them other boys comin espcially pope an Hightower played BIG like Cager should have been doin past 4 years lol jus sayin

Whoever is at receiver I want Guys who can consistently get open. I don’t want to see Cager and langham on the field at the same time period. They can alternate but not be on the field together...

Another thing , I don’t want to see no end zone fade routes to short receivers like we had last year, it’s not smart and you have multiple 6’1 or 6’2 plus receivers use that type of route for them..
