Bill Snyder 2.0Saban's going to coach until he's around 80. We've got another 10 years of dealing with the ******.

If I'm not mistaken, Clemson has an extra clause and eacalator buy out if Dabo jumps to Crimson Tide.Dabo was a WR at Bama, so returning to his alma mater is reasonable. Mario is at his alma mater and I have no idea why the logic exists that says he'd leave that and his hometown for Bama.

Sarkisian if Texas goes 13-0 to enter the CFB playoffs.Other than Dabo and Mario, who else would be a Bama target?
Satan has too much of an ego to go out while losing. He will go out on top and then make his way to TV to let everyone know any continued success at Bama is due to his dynasty.Saban will stick around until they stop winning. He’s opposite of Butch, he’s not going to let his successor take credit for what he built.
When Bama loses 4 games in a season, Saban will retire. Till then, he’ll keep showing up if they have to cart him out to the sideline in a wheelbarrow
Mike ShulaOther than Dabo and Mario, who else would be a Bama target?
I’ve seen some Bama fans want Lane, which I think is crazyOther than Dabo and Mario, who else would be a Bama target?
Napier, of course...if you believe the delusional Gator fansOther than Dabo and Mario, who else would be a Bama target?
He absolutely can be the successor, but spiritually in Miami rather than literally by going to Alabama. He knows the blueprint, and has the knowledge and institutional support to implement that blue print here over the next 3-5 years.
It’s pure speculation, but without even being a Miami fan I think that’s the most likely “successor” outcome for this next era. With NIL and Saban likely leaving soon, Bama will have had it’s moment and it won’t be able to maintain it going forward.
IMO and maybe others sa well, I think Mario has seen what could have been with Howard, Jimmy, and Butch. Those guys win multiple NC's had they stayed but the NFL, and in the case of Howard, the(original) USFL came calling. I dont think Mario goes anywhere and does what those guys didnt and sticks around Miami Bill Snyder-like. Well maybe not that long but you get the idea![]()
I'm not a Lane fan, but I don't think it's too far fetched. Saban has developed a machine and an infrastructure that a coach can inherit. I think Lane is good with the Xs and Os but bad with the administrative, program-building stuff, but that's already done for him at Bama. Plus, he'd have the resources to hire the best coordinators money can buy. I think he is a little too immature to trust him with the keys to that machine but I can see why it'd have some appeal.I’ve seen some Bama fans want Lane, which I think is crazy
