Potential Portal OL

Quite a few committed transfer guys that haven't signed per 247 rankings.

Yall are funny homers tho. We have championship aspirations and you think Mario just gonna roll with the current oline.

Lol we shall see. If im a betting man, id put money on a transfer flip.

I agree. this cant be the finished product. Its just late in the portal process. Good OL were signing the first week. Premium on great OL play. Maybe there are some late entries that we are not tracking to.

But we have some time to tamper with grad transfers in May. 🤣

Have seen some comments about bringing grad transfer in after spring ball. My understanding is that can’t happen.

Under the new rules, graduate transfers are NOT exempt anymore — they must enter the portal during the official transfer window (e.g., Jan. 2–16) or during the limited exceptions like a coaching change.

Just an fyi.

I think it would be the Xavier Lucas loophole. Just unenroll from school A and enroll in school B. Imagine we will be seeing some of that in the spring with no spring portal window.

Calib Perez, iOL UAB
6'5" 315lbs. Okay athlete. Originally Was at Duke for 2 years. His first 3 years he played about 130 snaps, with actually pretty good grades in those minimal snaps.
Started at LG for the first time at UAB this year. 62.4 Overall grade, 59.1 Run Block, and 69.9 Pass Block. 10 Pressures in 308 Pass Snaps.

Abiathar Curry, iOL NIU. Gunna be a RS SR
6'3" 307lbs. Not gunna act like he has graded even average. HOWEVER, Seems like a legit Great Athlete. Played 3 sports in HS.
And NIU had to replace 4 staring Olineman entering this season. So maybe just in general it was a bit of a **** show... His grades were bad. But seems like an athlete that maybe in right system and coaching could be a quality depth piece.... Then again due to his lack of size also not a fit for us probably. We need more OT builds.

Is this guy good or are y’all just scraping the bottom of the barrel looking for hidden gems?
Posted this about him on previous page
Jaylin Acevedo Navy OL
6'4" 310lbs. From Orlando. 3 Yrs Elligibility remaining
Played about 400 snaps at RT, had fine Run Block grades, bad pass block grades, but seems to be very athletic. Played Basketball in HS too.

Maybe a guard candidate...
