Potential Portal DB’s (CB’s & S’s only)

I get that, but it’s both of these guys last year and they’re both “nfl caliber” according to folks inside and around the team. But that’s kind of what I was alluding to with the comment about Brantley’s health issues. AU kid stunk in coverage last year tho
 
Was 2nd team all SEC I believe in '23?

He's either a nickle or a safety, he struggled at corner this year, but I'm not sure he was as bad as it looked as he played through an ankle? We don't need him for outside corner, we need him for our his best spots, likely nickle and possibly safety.

If Etheridge liked him enough to go back to the well despite his struggles this past season, that has to count for something. Was following him to Houston and now to UM.

Brantley has never played slot and Scott excelled in the slot. I think this is a case of being sure they have exactly what they want in the slot and gives them flexibility to play Brantley outside in his natural position.

Look if we bring in a CB, idk how Fitzgerald doesn't start out as a WR or something man. I mean I guess also Roberts is only here cause of injury, Im surprised Markeith never left, and we need depth safeties regardless... So I haven't been questioning why we are trying to invest in multiple Safeties. Plus DB just in general seems by far the most loaded position in spring portal so may as well load up I guess. The best will survive and the worst will end up leaving....

Roberts can you fill me in on who Roberts is & His injury? You sure he is on a paid Roster due to injury?
