That's an average that was skewed by the Western Michigan game.

He had one game with more than 40 snaps, so that means his grade was higher based on low snap count.

When he played teams with good WR's, it was mostly average.

I'd rather have Lucas at CB and Damari at Safety or Big Nickel/Star.... Regardless just you just let them compete and see who wins.but honestly we need 2 Safeties in portal anyways so if Lucas is safety that's better than most alternatives. I still wouldn't mind landing one or both the JaxSt S/nickel Perry/Latimer...

I expect Brantley and OJ to be our starting Field and Boundary CB respectively. Nickel competition.

Plenty on here have said (even before @Memnon just did) he may be a safety going forward. He's 6'2" 200lbs basically. So he has the build to be a safety or a thicker CB. He looks like he graded very well in tackling, so that wouldn't be an issue at either role probably.
He appears to have the speed to be a CB. Not sure about actual coverage ability and hips as ultimately that is going to be what dictates where he plays most likely. But I'd say you'd prefer to have him at CB if possible.

That's why I've been saying Lucas CB and move Damari to S...

IF/when we get Lucas, I'd say a true nickel (non big-nickel) is highest priority remaining on defense. Lucas/Damari/Richards are all guys that CAN play safety or that typical "star" role.
