Okay, he also followed Michigan State and Dantonio.

Whatchu getting at Broke?

All i was saying it looks like he is trying to transfer from there... **** man. My logic from that is you don't follow coaches and teams at another school if you not looking to be on the move.

Ok. Do we have any more info on the guy?

He was the 16th ranked Tackle in the Nation and a top 200 player overall, when he came out.

Was he simply not playing over there? Any other info? We badly need OL.

He's behind a true sophmore tackle right now I think and is a coming off of his redshirt season. I remember he was committed to the gators and flipped to lsu late.

LSU flips Florida offensive lineman commitment George Brown Jr.
By James Smith, NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune on December 07, 2014

LSU made a big splash on Saturday by securing a commitment from Cincinnati, Ohio, native George Brown Jr. The 6-foot-6, 255-pound prospect primarily plays offensive tackle for Winton Woods High School.

Brown committed to Florida in July, but after the Gators fired head coach Will Muschamp it opened the door for the Tigers, who have a big need for offensive linemen in this class. Brown committed during his official visit at LSU and continues a trend of the Tigers supplementing their recruiting efforts in the South with players from the Midwest.

No real news on the guy from what I see.

LSU has never had a problem with line depth. they prob develop Lineman with the best of them. From what I read their tackle situation isn't the best but they really like Maea Teuhema and Toby Weathersby as their tackles.

Even their projected backups get some spin in the media but Brown gets none.

I think he may be getting buried on the depth chart behind the nasties they already have. He got a redshirt and still cant touch the field.... LSU got some hog mollies for sure.

They can share.

This was last fall when he arrived at LSU, it is interesting that he is looking to transfers so soon.

Count me in. Even if he can eventually serve as a "mere" swing tackle, we simply need viable players. Our depth is no bueno.

The 6-foot-7, 290-pound Cincinnati native is choosing between Miami, Michigan State, Penn State and UCLA. He’ll decide on a destination this week, his father said, and will enroll in that school by Friday. George Brown Jr. will sit out this season under NCAA transfer rules, losing a year of eligibility. He’ll be eligible as a third-year sophomore next season.

Brown was rated as high as the No. 16th offensive tackle prospect in 2015, but he never saw the field last season. He entered this year as No. 2 or No. 3 option at either tackle spot. His last practice with LSU came Saturday during a scrimmage, his father said.

“He wants to be at a different place,” George Brown Sr. said. “That’s it.”

Brown is, at least, the eighth player to transfer this offseason, including four receivers, a kicker, quarterback Anthony Jennings and receiver Tyron Johnson, who left the squad just a week ago.
