Post-season tix and prices for all (possible) games

Actually, this is why I think the secondary market will be fairly healthy.

aTm has a MASSIVE number of "student tickets" which will be sold for cheap. A lot of students will be "home for the holidays", thus they may elect to purchase their tix and then resell (and the same goes for season ticketholders). I suspect there will be a LOT of "single tickets" on the resale market soon.
Yeah, I’m not sure what Texas A&M though uses for their students. Some schools needed to show ID too. I have no idea about them.

you could get tickets for slightly under 400 right now. thats before ATM sale has begun.

no one is going to spend thousands on tickets in this economy for a game at 11 am.
Not everybody is suffering people are suffering are never going anyway for the most part with a few exceptions

I think the thing that most might deflate anything is the hopes of winning and advancing, and trying to manage a budget to go either go to a deeper game or to multiple games

A couple of things:

- personally- didnt get first round- confirmed for all others- but will say first time in decades that my points didnt get me in- and I know I'm high due to history without being a golden cane or anything

- Texas A&M General Public on sale goes on 10 AM central time on Friday, but that doesn't even necessarily mean there will be one. It really depends upon how many request they get in earlier. It's entirely possible that allocation is very small.

- I know people are saying that the secondary markets will drop fast this weekend. I don't believe that's necessarily the case. There are plenty of locals who will die to see their first game and will keep ticket activity pretty good until the usual freak out panic zone later in the week, but I've tracked this for a few years and I wouldn't assume it's going to go down as fast as you might be used to even in that giant *** place. What will happen is out of town people stop looking because they can't get flights or aren't gonna risk it without a ticket if they're not crashing soon enough. Could be wrong, of course, but this is a whole different beast. As an example, I got all the tickets I wanted for the away game at Texas A&M with what I believe was the same visitor allocation last time for Miami

I think we had a larger allocation in 2022. I had plenty to sell to alumni in Houston through the UM Ticket Office. Plus, our band didn't travel to the game. That allocation was set up through the home-and-home contractual arrangement, though.

I think the quick turnaround is going to help a little. Resellers will go into a bit of a panic if their tickets don’t sell for over $400 right away. And I could see plenty of resellers being happy selling their $100 tickets for $300 or $350. So while they’re not going to plummet, I think they will come down maybe 20% or so.

Maybe there's a slight dip but tickets aren't all of the sudden going to be $100 for nosebleeds. I could see a 10% drop or something, sure.

But overall, cheapest ticket is probably still north of $400.

Let's see how much the $25 student tix start to sell for (assuming they can be uploaded to secondary tix websites).

**** all rounds but this one. My first time striking out also on any away game or final four. The big donors came out for this one

Have my hotel cheap and everything with the easy drive from Dallas, I might have to bite the bullet on secondary prices since it's a cheap next round here at the Cotton if we advance

I was there in 2022 and that game was nowhere close to the magnitude of this game for either school and their fanbases.

The 3500 tickets allotted included staff, family and even the band (if they travel). Reality is by the time they came to allocating to the fans/alumni and hurricane club they were working with less than 2000 tickets.

Moving forward the allocation will be larger since we will be 50/50 with osu.
