Apprehensive. BUT, I am apprehensive before all games. I would be apprehensive if we were playing Slippery Rock My beloved "Cardiac" 'Canes have made me extremely nervous and apprehensive in those close calls this year.

Won’t say by how much, or how. I just feel like we will win. And the Uprising continues

Why don't you say "apprehensive" some more

How do I feel?

I want this game so much that I'm on edge with the bubble guts.

I think we'll need to score 24+ to win. Every possession counts so much against a team that likes to run and control the ball. Each possession that we have must be at least 5+ plays and every other needs to have a score. If they get two or more 9+ play possessions that's bad. Like Manny has said before each and every tfl is huge. Need to get em off their spot. Guessing they will try and lean on us but I think they are in for rude awakening.

cheesy I know but the point I was trying to make is they will get an initial push -- but then it stops and then they will become befuddled because we're not crumbling

I'm anxious yet confident we win. How can you not feel a little anxious, this is our biggest game in 15 years. As with most games, there will be a play or two that defines the game. For us, I firmly believe it will be from our defense. I think we will cause a turnover when it's tight early on, sometime during the first half, and then the turnover chain will come out and, well, you know the rest. It's not going to be easy, but we will win.

Confident we're the toughest team they've played this season and confident they'll know it from the first snap.

Exactly right except that statement is reversed. ND easily best team Miami played while Georgia was better than Miami and USC,Mich State, NC State all at least on Miami’s level.

I felt pretty good going into VT. But ND typically plays a tough schedule nationally and recruit well. I am more concerned about consistency on offense. We just can't score unless we make big plays and they will take that away. Their defense is good like VT but not as aggressive in that they will force you to have to go long drives. Can Malik make good decisions and not have too many turnovers, our receivers hang on to the ball to keep drives going, and can we have some semblance of a running game to keep their defense honest?

I am certainly hopeful but feeling somewhat guarded. Finally we have a stadium that is becoming an intimidating place for opponents to play. They will not have it easy for sure. Our defense will play tough and emotional for sure. ND will have their work cut out for them and if they win, props to them.

Playing with house money at this point. The benchmarks for Miami taking the next step coming into this season were 10 wins, beating FSU, and an ACCCG appearance. Those are all but locked up at this point. Now it's about taking what's in front of them. I think the team is loose, not feeling any pressure and I think they love that everyone nationally doubts them. It's the perfect situation.

This is exactly how I feel.

This is a real opportunity for this program to truly "get over the hump" once and for all - a national TV audience with so much doubt being thrown our way, tons and tons of recruits in attendance, and an insane atmosphere...this team is going to be absolutely ready to pounce.

I believe that they will be ready to seize the opportunity - to "rise to the occasion" if you will.

Legit think we win this. They will get their yards on the ground, but they won't run wild. Have confidence in Diaz adjusting. Their D is not elite, we should be able to score.

If somehow it comes down to the final play, our boys want this game so bad I wouldn't be surprised if it ends like this.

You don't grasp how much Miami wants this game. You'll see, soon enough.

I think we can win. I also think we have nothing to lose because having a regular season with more than 8 wins and a Coastal title is already progress. Coming off of a decade of mediocrity. This feels awesome. We are facing the top ranked team outside of the SEC this weekend. Prime Time. ESPN Game Day is on campus! It's great to be a Miami Hurricane!

Exactly. I didn't expect the playoff this year so this would just be a HUGE bonus to a season that we're finally reaching our goals. If we don't win then we still have a lot to play for. However, if we win then it's time to think BIG!
