Here is one thing I find interesting. If ND had a QB who could just sling it as well as run I would be more concerned. If they run for 250 yards and only throw for 150. That's 400 yards. That's decent in terms of holding a good team down. If they were equally proficient it would be more scary for us. Im actually more excited because they are a runnijf team. Like I said they gain less than 300 yards v UGA and 355 v MSU.
I view ND like GT, if you turn the ball over a bunch of times and don't cause any they can run away from you. You can't allow pick 6s and they have a few this year. I want us to go deep on the pass. Thats what we are good at and we can force PI. I think they will get around 400 yards. I kinda figure how Diaz defends these teams. He will have everyone attack Adams which will leave the ball in Wimbush hands and he will get some yards rushing and then we can force Turnovers if he throws and hit him hard when he runs. Then play great redzone D and force FGs is they get close. Teams like NC St got worn down because they have a good starting unit on D but very poor backups. We play alot of players on D and we are fresh in the 4th.
I think Deejay may have a big game on O. That boy has great vision. And he seem a little more consistent than Homer to me in terms of always picking up yards, whether 2,3, or 4. That's a huge difference in 3rd and 3 to 3rd and 7 or 8. I hope he plays alot more and I hope to see alot of him in the QB position in the redzone.
